Valve released notes on Dota 2's latest upcoming patch 7.00. The site originally crashed when the notes were first suppose to go live, but is now back up and running with full details on a list of extensive changes that will be coming to Valve's free to play MOBA.

According to PCGames, the update carries quite a number of significant change-ups. Patch 7.00 carries a refines head-up display, new pregame phase, and a fresh new interface, which is according to Valve has been completely redesigned and reworked from ground up.

In a report in TechTimes says the most obvious gameplay changes are a Heroes of the Storm like Talent system, allowing you to choose specific skills for your hero at 10, 15, 20 and 25 level milestones. These confer item-level stat bonuses to your hero and are offered as choice between two at each level.

Next there is a Backpack , which lets the player to carry around three extra items, as well as the six in your item slots. Players cannot use these items unless they swap them into an active item slot, but the advantage is that player can use them to combine into items, if they have the components of the recipe.

This all requires a new HUD, which looks very sleek and minimalistic and will need hours and hours to get used to. The pre-game flow is also different now with a focus on more strategic choices, letting the player to choose the starting items before beginning and a fancy animation which really takes the player in the mood of a Street Fight V (Dota 2)

It says something about patch 7.00 that the addition of a completely new character some how seems like one of the smallest changes it brings to Dota 2. the notes are divided into four sections, including one for a new hero being introduced to the game.
